Ephesians 6:10-13  says “A final word; Be strong with the Lord’s mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil. For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms. Use every piece of God’s armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm.”

Life is tough sometimes. There are problems we face, situations that arise, and people that seem to be difficult to deal with or understand from time to time in our life. We face personal battles that leave us feeling overwhelmed now and then. That’s why it’s important to turn to God for strength to stand. As temptations arise, we need to know how to rise above. It’s in the Lord. Our strength is in Him. We find power through prayer, through His Word, the Holy Bible. We find the ability to conquer fear through faith. His power is stedfast, and as we seek Him and His ability to help us, we will not be overcome by evil.

Don’t fear. Do not be dismayed. Know that God is strong and able to help you in your time of need, in your time of uncertainty, chaos, or trouble. Stand firm in His power, and stand on His Word. God is with you always!

At Solid Rock Church, you can find a place to be planted, and a place to grow in the Lord, in His Word, in fellowship with other believers,  in your gifts and abilities for service to the body of Christ and the community.  This is a church filled with people who love God and want to see positive things happening in this community for His glory. Solid Rock Church Assembly of God has officially been launched and is opened to the public of Medina, Tennessee and all who want to come be part of this Ministry as they are so led by the Holy Spirit. We have seen nine souls saved this month. We have seen many touched by the presence of God, and are continuing to hear great testimonies of how their lives are being affected by the goodness of God!  We are so blessed and truly thankful for all those who have been praying for this new church, and for all who have worked with us to see the new building renovated, and for all those who are sacrificing their God-given talents, and abilities to serve in ministry here. We know that God has great plans for the people of this community and greater area. It is all for the Glory of God that His will is accomplished through us in this awesome New Season of New Beginnings!

We have the keys to our new building for Solid Rock Church! Praise the Lord! Our new location is 601 South 45 Bypass in Medina! (located between Sonic Drive In and El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant).  God is blessing! The Grand Opening/ launch date for SRC will be on Sunday morning November 15th at 10:00 A.M.! We are excited about what God is doing in Medina, Tennessee!
